Weekday worship

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Wednesday lunchtime service is not meeting.

Wednesday Lunchtime Communion Service

This informal service would, in normal (non-Covid) times take place in the Lounge and last about 30–40 minutes. A simple celebration of communion is most often at the heart of the service, but time is always given to pray for individuals who are on the church prayer list as well as prayer requests that have been placed in the prayer box. These prayers continue to be offered from people’s homes. If you would like prayer to be offered for you, please email Deacon Ruth Yorke on ruth.yorke@live.co.uk

Mornings and Tuesday Evenings

Prayers are offered daily: 8.30am Monday – Friday (usually only in term times) led by members of Carrs Lane Lived Community, whose community life is built around a rhythm of daily prayer, a shared life together, openness to others in hospitality and service to the city in which we live, pray and work. You can also join them in person on the premises (in the Lounge). To arrange to join them before the building opens officially at 9am, please email info@carrslanelivedcommunity.org.uk. Alternatively, take part online. Go to online prayers on Facebook.

On some Tuesday evenings, prayers are said at 6.30pm by the Lived Community on Facebook Live. At 7pm, there is a live streamed reflection on a Bible reading for the following Sunday, followed by a conversation about it on Zoom from 7.05pm. To receive the Zoom link for the conversation, please email info@carrslanelivedcommunity.org.uk.
