The church supports the Aston and Nechells Food Bank, giving emergency food to people in crisis. Operated by the Trussell Trust, it is based at St Matthew’s Church, Nechells. We collect non-perishable food stuffs at Carrs Lane and it is delivered weekly to Nechells. There is an opportunity for anyone to contribute including visitors to the church and groups hiring rooms in the conference centre.
